Why give to the Notre Dame Folk Choir?
The Folk Choir has enriched the worship experience for countless congregations through its ministry at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart. Thanks to the generosity of our benefactors, the Folk Choir established an endowment fund to ensure the Choir’s future success. We welcome contributions that support our mission of providing sacred music for the University community and beyond.
How do I give?
Gifts to the University may be directed to the Notre Dame Folk Choir endowment by contacting the University’s Development Office:

Please indicate your intent to donate to the Folk Choir on the check, pledge form, or by an accompanying letter or phone call.
Does my gift count towards my participation in the Notre Dame football ticket lottery?
Gifts to the Folk Choir do qualify toward fulfilling the minimum contribution limits for participation in the annual football ticket lottery, if received by December 31.
What can I do with my gift?
Gifts to the Folk Choir are designated toward the Choir’s endowment fund. This fund is part of the University endowment which is managed by the University’s Investment Office. Gifts to this fund will ensure the future success of the choir’s ministry.
What are the Folk Choir’s needs?
Our current partial list of needs includes:
- Contributions to the Folk Choir endowment.
- Support the tour of our Passion Project, which will take place in various East Coast locations in March 2022.
- Support the recording of our Passion Project in the Holy Land in May of 2022!
- Sponsor all or part of a future recording.
- Creating video content of the choir.
