Audition
Thank you for your interest in auditioning for the Folk Choir! We welcome all students from Notre Dame, Saint Mary’s College, and Holy Cross College to audition. You can find all the information you need to know about auditioning for the Folk Choir and other campus ensembles below. If you would like to familiarize yourself with some of the Folk Choir repertoire, please visit our Youtube channel.
Auditions for the Folk Choir this year are being held both in-person and virtually. You can submit your virtual audition via the Google form on http://choirs.nd.edu. Signups for in-person auditions will be available late July; however, there are a limited number of slots, so virtual auditions are preferred. In-person auditions will be held on the third floor of the Coleman-Morse Center on August 20th and August 21st.
Our weekly schedule for the 2023-2024 academic year is as follows:
- Rehearse Tuesday's from 7:15-8:45pm and Thursday's from 8-9:30pm.
- Sing at the 12pm Mass at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart every Sunday.
Though now through August 21st is the official audition window, we often accept new members later in the school year. If you have missed the August audition deadline, but still wish to audition or find out more about the choir, please contact our director.
